From 1886 - 1942, it was the clubhouse for the "most exclusive club in the world," with members such as, J.P. Morgan, William Rockefeller and William Vanderbilt. 371 Riverview Drive 855-787-3857 Faith Chapel Faith Chapel, built in 1904, served as a non-denominational chapel for members of the Jekyll Island Club. The simple design reflects the relaxed feel of the island. One of the windows is a magnificent, signed example of Louis Comfort Tiffany's work. 375 Riverview Drive 912-635-4403 Jekyll Island Museum Exhibitions in the museum feature objects and photographs from our extensive collections and introduce you to the rich heritage of Jekyll Island, whose social and architectural legacy is reflected in the Jekyll Island Club National Historic Landmark District. 100 Stable Road 912-635-4036 The Historic District Jekyll Island Club National Historic Landmark District is one of the largest Historic Districts in the country, with its 240-acre site and 33 historic structures. In the early 1900s, it was the grounds for the world's most exclusive club. Riverview Drive Georgia Sea Turtle Center This unique facility serves as a hospital for ill and injured sea turtles and is the only hospital of its kind in the state of Georgia. Learn about sea turtles, see them as they recuperate in the hospital and take home a lasting memento from the gift shop. 214 Stable Road 912-635-4444 Horton House The Horton House is one of the oldest buildings in Georgia. Major William Horton constructed this home in 1743. Recently restored, it has won an Excellence in Preservation award from the Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation.
